Using Less Accounting for:
Less than a year

Why Luc Began Using Less:
Short answer:I
needed a powerful, flexible, small business accounting app that answered the needs of a freelancer.
Long answer:
A couple years back, I lamented the sad lack of good accounting software for Macs. I had already been using the clunky and awful "Quickbooks Accounts for Mac" app for a few years (buying it only a few months prior to Quickbooks announcing they would no longer support, develop, or sell it) and I
absolutely hated it
from the start. Despite it being a very powerful application, it was horribly awkward, terribly designed, and the learning curve on it seemed ridiculously endless. Clearly, I needed something better.
I began searching for a replacement that would allow me to do all the things a freelance designer needs in a small business accounting app.
I found a few invoicing web-apps, which I tried for a while. But in the long run, Less Accounting came up on top.

-
Why Addison began using Less for his freelance business:
I had been using an online invoicing service for a year or so, but eventually I needed something more complete that handled accounting as well. A couple of trial accounts and disappointments later, I discovered Less Accounting and fell in love! Since I have no accounting experience whatsoever, the simplicity and "less" philosophy was a perfect fit.

Favorite accounting feature:
The business proposals have saved me vast amounts of time, especially with the cloneable templates. But the real kicker is how I can import my time sheets from Get More Honey directly into Less Accounting and create an invoice -- that's an incredible time-saver.
