Terms of Service

Acceptance

By using the Service you are deemed to accept the validity of and be bound by the Terms of Service as stated herein without modification.

Limited Warranties

Except as specified in these Terms, to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Service provided by LessAccounting LLC is provided “as is” without any kind of warranty. Except as specified in these Terms, we are not responsible for any loss, injury, claim, liability, damage, or consequential damage related to your use of the Service, or inaccessibility of the Service whether from errors or omissions in the content of this Service or any other linked sites or for any other reason. Use of this Service is at your own risk. LessAccounting LLC does not represent or warrant that the Site, its server or any linked sites are free of any harmful materials.

Maximum Liability

Except as specified in these Terms, the maximum liability of LessAccounting LLC is the amount paid to LessAccounting LLC by the customer.

Indemnification

The user agrees to indemnify and hold LessAccounting LLC., its directors, officers and employees, harmless from any claim, demand, or damage, including legal fees, asserted by any third party due to or arising out of the user’s use of or conduct on the Site.

Modification to Terms

LessAccounting LLC, reserves the right to change the Terms or policies regarding the use of the Site at any time and to notify you by updating the Service.

Third party data providers

If you elect to have LessAccounting access information from third party accounts by providing the access information to such third party account, one of our service providers, Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) or Envestnet Yodlee, Inc. (“Yodlee” and, together with Plaid, the “Bank Data Providers”), will access such third party accounts for the purposes of performing the Services. This can include aggregation of bank transaction data as well as account verification. By providing the requisite access information to LessAccounting, you grant us and our Bank Data Providers permission and authority to access the relevant third party accounts, on your behalf or on behalf from the principal account holder, and retrieve the relevant information to make it available as part of the Services and agree to be bound by our Bank Data Providers terms of use (Plaid and Yodlee) in addition to these Terms of Use). You are not permitted to provide LessAccounting with any access information for any third party accounts for which you are not the principal account holder unless you have the authority to act on behalf of the principal account holder.

LessAccounting LLC is not obligated to review the information for any purpose, including but not limited to accuracy. It is entirely your responsibility to ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of any information provided to us or any third party service providers in connection with any of the Services.

LessAccounting uses Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to gather your data from financial institutions. By using our service, you grant LessAccounting and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from the relevant financial institution. You agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the the LessAccounting LLC Privacy policy

Enforcement

If any part of the Terms or the Site’s Disclaimer cannot be enforced for any reason, this decision will not affect the validity of the remainder of the Terms and Disclaimer which will continue to be in full force and effect.

Governing Law

The Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Texas.

Reverse Engineering

Reverse engineering the functionality or design of the site is not permitted.

Refund

No refunds will be given under any circumstances.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. To do so, log in using the account owner’s credentials, then go to Settings, then Delete Account. You will have several options, including an option to just pause your billing. There is also an option to delete your account and all data immediately and permanently. Invited members can NOT cancel accounts. Additionally, no employee of LessAccounting can delete your account whether by email, chat, or phone request. You must do so yourself following the steps outlined previously.
